Environmental Engineering (EE)

The study programme Environmental Engineering is focused on acquiring theoretical knowledge and real practical skills from individual basic disciplines and their use in an interdisciplinary environment that characterizes Environmental Engineering. Emphasis is placed primarily on the measurements of technical quantities characterizing the human environment, the usage of statistical methods, design and modification of products in terms of their impact on human life and the environment of Environmental Engineering, as well as the designing production systems, operations and other engineering works. A significant aspect of the programme is the application of environmental engineering techniques in practice, with further emphasis placed on the whole complex of physical factors, psychoacoustics, visualization of energy field distribution in the indoor and outdoor environment, integrated management systems, major industrial accidents and last but not least, the specification of product quality evaluation methods.
