On November 26, 2025, the Department of Automotive Production at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, TUKE, hosted a professional ŠKODA Auto – SjF TUKE workshop focused on the vehicle design process.

The lectures provided a detailed look into the individual stages of automobile development — from the initial vision and pre-development, through surface data processing and engine design, all the way to aerodynamic analyses and strength calculations.

A representative from Human Resources also informed students about opportunities for summer internships, part-time positions, and topics for diploma theses. In addition, the Disk student project was introduced, intended for students in the first year of the master’s program.

We extend our thanks to the experts from the ŠKODA Auto development center, who traveled more than 700 km to share their experience in automotive development.
