Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of TUKE participated in the popular exhibition rally AUTO SHOW at Slovakiaring on in Orechova Potônia with the Škoda Fabia R evo special with the crew of Richard Gonda and Ing Miroslav Palko PhD They enjoyed the first day in the Škoda Fabia R but unfortunately technical problems did not allow them to start the race on Saturday We would like to thank our entire No Racing Team for their efforts and we are looking forward to the next events nbsp

Mechanical Engineering Ball connected with the matriculation ceremony of SJF TUKE students

The Mechanical Engineering Ball connected with the matriculation ceremony of the students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University of Košice was held on th November traditionally in the Social Pavilion in Košice More than students employees and invited guests had a great time thanks to the excellent speech humour and singing of Ondrej Kandrač the musical group Problem the performance of the participants of Czechoslovakia has talent from Studio POLE DIVA with their aerial acrobatics and the talented winners of the Košice Golden Treasure the singing duo Sony amp Lucy With the stroke of midnight came the long awaited rich and varied raffle The Engineers Ball turned out to be beyond expectations and satisfaction was evident among the organizers and visitors alike nbsp

Workshop Designing in the automotive industry

On the workshop Designing in the automotive industry was held at the SJf TUKE Lectures were given by experts from the ŠKODA Auto Mladá Boleslav Technology Centre Aufeer Design IDIADA and EDAG The lectures were about digitalization and smoothing of surfaces car pre development and design accompaniment aerodynamics calculations crash test simulations light development engine exhaust development and everything related to the development of a new car At the end the next edition of the Drive project was announced and an informal discussion between students and development staff took place The workshop was a success and we look forward to further cooperation and events with ŠKODA Auto nbsp

TOP Student Thesis 2023 - Winners Award

Graduates of doctoral studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of TUKE became winners of the TOP Student Thesis competition which is announced annually by UVP TECHNICOM and DEUTSCHE TELECOM IT Solutions Dissertation of Ing Branko Štefanovič PhD Innovative Approaches in Orthopaedics won the Health Care category and the dissertation of Ing František Kupec PhD titled Design of an innovative solution of a car body part to optimize aerodynamics won the Industry category The awards were ceremonially presented today in the presence of Mr Dean prof Živčák supervisor doc Fabian representatives of DEUTSCHE TELECOM IT Solutions and representatives of Škoda Auto We warmly congratulate the awardees nbsp nbsp
