Business Management and Economics (BMaE)

The study program Business Management and Economics, accredited in the I. and II. levels of university studies, belongs to the study field Mechanical Engineering and continues the long-standing tradition of teaching economically and managerially oriented subjects at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University of Košice. 

The graduate is prepared to work in the environment of digitally transformed organizations that require the connection of technical and scientific knowledge with economics, management, digitalization and artificial intelligence. 

He or she has knowledge of business economics, business management, marketing, economic and financial decision-making, controlling, process, project and enterprise management, as well as the field of digital technologies, data analytics and artificial intelligence.
The graduate is able to comprehensively evaluate the economic, operational and financial performance of a company based on analytical data, propose measures to increase the efficiency of processes and the competitiveness of companies, integrate technical, economic and managerial approaches in business management, optimize the use of resources and apply digital tools and artificial intelligence to support strategic and operational decision-making in a modern business environment. 

He is prepared to work in multidisciplinary teams, has developed systemic, analytical and critical thinking, as well as the ability for lifelong learning in a dynamically changing work environment.
